Protect checkout

Reduce chargebacks and card misuse on purchases and subscriptions.

For purchases, send the transaction together with what you know about the customer, their device and the payment. Checkout data uses a nested shape.

Send only the parts you have. Checks that need missing fields are skipped, not failed.

Suggested handling#

APPROVE: complete the order.
REVIEW: hold fulfilment for a manual look, or require 3-D Secure.
DENY: decline the payment.
