("we", "us", and "our") uses cookies, local storage, and similar tracking technologies to recognize you when you visit our Dashboard, Website, or interact with our SDKs ("Platform").   • Strictly Necessary (Security & Auth): These are required for the technical operation and security of our Platform. For example, we store your JWT (JSON Web Token) to keep you logged in securely.
  • Fraud Detection (The Core Service): When our SDK is loaded, we use Local Storage to assign and persist a unique device_id. This allows us to detect "velocity attacks" (e.g., one device creating 50 accounts) even if the user changes their IP address.
  • Preferences: To remember your UI settings, such as Light/Dark mode (`theme`).
  • Analytics: To understand how users interact with our marketing site and dashboard.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies that have been set on our Platform are not set on a first-party basis by isCredible. The third parties serving these cookies may include:

  • Stripe: We use Stripe for payment processing. Stripe sets cookies to detect fraud during checkout and ensure secure transactions (e.g., `__stripe_mid`, `__stripe_sid`).
  • Google Analytics / PostHog: These help us measure traffic and usage trends for our dashboard to improve the product.

Warning regarding Security Cookies: Because isCredible is a security and fraud detection platform, blocking cookies or Local Storage may prevent our SDK from correctly identifying devices. If you are a Client using our Dashboard, blocking these may prevent you from logging in.

If you are a Client installing the isCredible SDK or JavaScript Snippet on your own website, please note that our SDK acts as a "Third-Party" on your domain.

You are responsible for updating your own Cookie Policy to inform your end-users that you use third-party fraud detection services (isCredible) which may store data on their device for security purposes.
